Brian Kelly shouldered the blame for LSU’s 40-13 drubbing at the hands of Tennessee on Saturday, saying he was out-coached and his Tigers were out-classed. His post-game remarks didn’t change the media’s opinion surrounding Kelly’s embarrassing home setback, however.

“That’s on me,” Kelly said. “I have to coach better. We’ve gotta coach better. That’s the group we have. We have to coach them better. Congratulations to Tennessee, they played well today. They were the better football team. They certainly deserved the win today. Have to coach this football team better, that’s the bottom line.”
Here’s what national media members are saying about Kelly’s program and his coaching after LSU’s setback.
