Outdoor equipment manufacturer Vango has launched an innovative new inflation system that lets you pitch tents and awnings from a single point.
The S.I. Pro technology will feature in Vango’s new 2021 Anantara III Air TC 650XL tent, alongside a range of caravan awnings, including the Riviera 420.
Vango says the new technology is aimed at making pitching easier for campers and caravanners.
It’s 10 years since Vango launched the AirBeam range of inflatable tents that revolutionised family camping in 2011.
Rob Birrell, Vango’s Marketing Director, said: “The tremendous success of Vango’s AirBeam technology has enabled us to continue to develop and expand the range over the years. Advancing technology continues to impact and enhance our evolving designs and play a vital role in our developments at Vango.
“We’re delighted to share our new models with our customers in celebration of 10 fantastic years of AirBeam and we believe, through its convenient single inflation point, it will make getting outdoors easier and more enjoyable than ever before throughout 2021 and beyond.”
The new technology works by allowing you to inflate the tent with a hand-held or electrical pump via one single valve. The air is distributed to the beams but is automatically prevented from escaping by a valve hidden inside the tube.
If one beam is punctured or opened then the other beams are not affected and the tent remains standing. Each beam has its own deflation valve, to make packing away quicker.
The new range will be available to buy from the Vango website and from retailers from March 2021 onwards.
