Outdoor specialist, Whitby & Co, will now distribute two German brands – Petromax and Feuerhand – to the UK and Ireland market
Petromax is one of Germany’s leading manufacturers of outdoor cooking and lighting equipment, while the Feuerhand brand – which is also part of the Petromax Group – offers a range of lanterns, fire bowls and barrels.
Whitby & Co adds these two brands to its existing portfolio, including Leatherman, Klean Kanteen, Zippo, Opinel, Buck and its own Whitby products.
Phil Ellwood, Managing Director of Whitby & Co, says,
We’re delighted to welcome Petromax and Feuerhand to the Whitby & Co family. Both brands have excellent reputations in the markets in which they are established, and they make products that we believe will have strong appeal here in the UK and Ireland. They also sit very comfortably with our other great brands, adding to the wide variety of excellent products that we can offer to the trade. The timing is also good, as we move into the summer months and peak camping, bushcraft and barbecue season.
