I guess it’s true that that we are all Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, and who doesn’t like green beer. It’s such a fun day. I used to love going to Downtown Chicago, have a few cold ones, and see the Chicago river, which the City dyes green every year. We all have our traditions on this fun holiday.
Things of course are different this year, just like the last 12 months. Nothing has been normal these days. A few years ago, folks would be up and down the sidewalks in East Lansing on Saint Patrick’s Day, basically doing something I would never do, and that is waiting in line to get into a bar. There are too many of them to be wasting my time like that. But I guess when you younger you don’t mind as much.
