We’re back once more with another bi-monthly edition of Fashion Obsessions where we talk about fashion’s latest drops, capsule collections, and more. As we usher in the new year, we can start expecting Chinese New Year-themed collections and such with the likes of Dior x Stussy. To keep it exclusive, Burberry releases an exclusive, limited-edition capsule collection for its greatest designs.
Aside from that, the likes of Levi’s, Nike, and Louis Vuitton round up the collection. Levi’s introduces its latest series known simply as ‘Levi’s Red’. Nike brings forth nine new sneakers made of sustainable materials and Louis Vuitton makes transportation more bougie with its very own Louis Vuitton Bike.

Diving deep into its vaults, Riccardo Tisci launches the Burberry Future Archive, a limited-edition capsule collection that pays homage to the brand’s roots in outerwear. Besides, Burberry is the pioneer when it comes to the trench coat. Each piece has been reimagined with an eye towards the future with trench coats and quilted jackets taking up the bulk of the collection, which is available in a numbered limited-edition of 150 only.

Dior x Stussy
Both Kim Jones and Shawn Stussy have come together once more for another Dior x Stussy collaboration, this time centred on the upcoming Chinese New Year festivities. The entire capsule collection features symbols paying homage to the Year of the Ox. Expect a harmonious blend of luxury staples with streetwear aesthetics, especially the iconic Shawn Stussy graphic. The collection includes letterman jackets, hoodies, sweaters, button-down shirts, and t-shirts for apparel. As for accessories, The Dior B23 sneakers makes a return with a new inclusion.

Launching its latest Chinese New Year 2021 collection is Levi’s RED. Drawing inspiration from the 2003 Workwear collection, featuring environmentally-friendly fabrics and exaggerated workwear details drawn from the brand’s roots. Bottoms for both men and women retain their unique and detailed design while being driven by 90’s retro classics.

Part of Louis Vuitton’s Art de Vivre universe is the all-new LV Bike, which was created in collaboration with artisanal Paris-based bike-maker, Maison TAMBOITE Paris. The LV Bike is a reinterpretation of Maison TAMBOITE Paris’ classic bikes, which includes a Monogram flower chainset and an interlocking ‘LV’ shaped frame.

Keeping up with its vision on a sustainable future, Nike is finally putting environmentally-friendly initiatives into place. One of its biggest steps is introducing five iconic silhouettes with nine different styles to go with it, made using at least 20% recycled content. This includes two Air Max 95s, two Air Max 90s, two Blazer Mid ’77 Vintage, an Air Zoom Type, and topped off with two Air Force 1 ‘07 LV8.
