It’s a busy time for Manchester United on and off the pitch – despite their ongoing domestic break.
United defenders Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw were in World Cup action for England on Friday night as they were held to a 0-0 draw by the United States at the Al-Bayt Stadium. Marcus Rashford also came off the bench during the Group B showdown as England moved closer to Group B progression.
Cody Gakpo continues to make his mark in Qatar, meanwhile, with two goals in as many games for the Netherlands at this tournament. He was pursued by United in the summer and could be on the radar for Erik ten Hag once more when switching his focus to the January transfer window.
New investment is being welcomed, too, after the Glazer family expressed their desire to sell the club earlier this week.
