As the days (slowwwly) start to get longer, we’re looking ahead to warmer weather and summer trends. And Kylie Jenner, who lives in sunny California, is already taking some out for a spin, as we’ve seen with her latest Instagram posts. (We’ve got you covered – scroll to the bottom to shop our edit.)
She just double-posted the same outfit, which ticks two of Spring/Summer 2021’s biggest trends: psychedelic prints and strappy tops. Swirly, lava lamp-esque patterns, warped checkerboard, painterly splotches, and 70s rainbows are all cropping up in new collections. Even tie dye, which was big all during 2020, is still sticking around. And remember when we told you that Kim K’s strappy bikini was a big forecast of what’s to come?
This week Kylie wore some blue, high-waist, wide-leg jeans that featured an incredible swirl print all over. Bang on trend. She paired them with a white short sleeve crop top with rib straps, a belly chain, and a blue bag.

In the latest photo, we can see she’s carrying a white blazer, too. (Which, btw, is the perfect way to add warm-weather coverage to a bare midriff).

Note the cut of her jeans: they couldn’t be further from skinny. We’ve been fangirling over the chic, leg-lengthening effects of straight-leg jeans for a few years now, but things are going even wider in the denim department in 2021. The high street has been releasing baggier “dad jean” styles, or “Y2K” style boyfriend jeans that slouch low on your waist and pool around your ankles (platforms welcome).
And this wasn’t the first time she opted for a trippy print, either – she wore this swirly mesh top back in December:
