How To Make Your Headphones Louder

Nothing beats listening to the quality of a good sound. Headphones are designed and engineered to produce high-quality audio and it can be frustrating when you are not getting the desired output sound from your headphones.  It is no longer news that loud music sounds really great for a lot of people.

Therefore if your headphone isn’t loud enough then there is nothing wrong with wanting to increase the volume of the headphone to get the desired satisfaction when listening to a great music or an audio recording.

Note: Understand the limit set point of the headphone volume which was set by the manufacturer. This is quite important because loud music may permanently damage the ears. So if the preset audio volume is exceeded, then it might be risky for the ears.

I will show a few things that you can do to increase the output volume of your headphone but it can damage the headphone if not done properly. One of the ways to increase the audio output of the headphone is to check the volume limits of the device that you are using. Most times the volume could be at its manufacturer limit point but you can choose to increase the volume to the highest point at your own risk because of your own individual experience.

In this case, above, you are left with two choices, boost-up the volume or find a way to reduce the external noise source that affects both the volume and quality of the sound which is being played.

If you have succeeded in exceeding the maximum limit set by the manufacturer on the device and you are still not satisfied with the quality of the audio production then I will suggest three other ways to increase the volume of the headset.

1. The use of headphones amplifier

Headphones basically are made of speakers and all speakers require an amplifier to produce a high-quality sound. As a matter of fact, almost all audio devices have an inbuilt headphone amplifier (smartphones, tablets, and computers) alike and because the size of these audio devices is small, it means that the size of the amplifier will be relatively small also and may not be reliable to produce high and quality sound on the headphones.

So a low powered amplifier will definitely produce low volume and less quality audio which will definitely produce a distortion of the sound when the volume is increased to a higher level.

The standalone amplifier has enough power to produce high volume and quality sounds without audio distortion which will satisfy your desire to make the headphone to produce a loud sound.

PORTABLE DESIGN – A sleek, brushed aluminum shell and chassis allow for durable, portable use.

LOW NOISE FLOOR – The unit has an optimized low-pass filter and selectable bass boost circuit that is designed for a low noise floor in all states.

Note: you only need to buy an amplifier when you are very sure that the headphone power is low and won’t meet the headphone power requirements to produce a high-quality sound output when the volume of the headphone is increased. So before acquiring a standalone headphone amplifier, check for the impedance of the headphone and anything above 32 ohms will benefit from a standalone headphone amplifier.

In-ear headphones or ear-buds do not require the use of headphone amplifiers over- ears headphones which have an impedance above 32ohms will definitely benefit from a standalone headphone amplifier

2. EarCandi

The use of EarCandi is another sure means to isolate external noise and sound which interferes with the audio output from the headphone and this noise interference will then force you to increase the volume on the headphone device to make the audio output from the headphone to become louder.

When headphones which have the features of the EarCandi is used, the EarCandi helps to minimize the external noise and disturbances that are always associated when using headphones in noisy places or public environments.

When the external noise have been addressed then, listening to headphones will quite be a comfortable experience.

Loud music is pleasurable and enjoyable,  so buy you the suggested headphone that suits your needs but remember that when a sound is too loud, it has its own consequences which can lead to permanent hearing disorders of the ears.

3. The use of Applications

There are applications that have been engineered and tailored made for the sole purpose of increasing the volume of the audio which will not distort or reduce the quality of the sound.

These apps will make the headphone to produce both a loud and a sound with high-quality resolutions. Some examples of the top Apps that you should use which has been proven to have made the headphone louder when used in playing: SonicMax Pro for iOS or Volume Booster Pro for Android, but others are easy to find and download for free.

Music is best enjoyed when it is just loud but not too loud which may damage ears. So the process stated above will help you to increase the volume to a reasonably high standard which is perfect and safe enough for the ears.
