Travelling might be off the agenda right now but you can still have an adventure at home with the kids over half-term.
Bushcraft experts Ross Bowyer and Clare Dyson are presenting a daily dose of outdoor fun from 15 – 19 February.
The pair will host an online tutorial every day on subjects including cooking a tasty meal outdoors, building a shelter and even making your own bird-feeder.
Ross and Clare have teamed up with outdoor clothing brand Fjällräven and retailer Ellis Brigham for the Backgarden Bushcraft lessons, which will be hosted each day on Ellis Brigham’s social media and YouTube channels.
Each video tutorial will be around 30 minutes long and include simple step-by-step instructions for that day’s task. Alongside each video, there will be a downloadable instruction sheet that you can take with you when you go outside to try the activity for yourself.
For more information visit Ellis Brigham on Facebook or Instagram.
The first Backgarden Bushcraft video will go live on Monday 15 February across Ellis Brigham’s social and YouTube channels.
Ross is a professional bushcraft instructor, and has worked with talent including Bear Grylls, Ed Stafford and James Cracknell.
Clare is a qualified mountain leader and has taken part in numerous outdoor expeditions including a solo, month-long journey across the Lake District on horseback in the summer of 2018.
