CLEVELAND, Ohio – City officials reported 403 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, the highest single-day total since the pandemic began.
The city reported no additional deaths from the virus.
The new cases bring Cleveland’s total confirmed cases to 13,308 and involve patients ranging in age from less than 1-year-old to their 90s, the city reported. The city reported 345 new cases on Saturday.
The Ohio Department of Health on Sunday reported 7,592 cases statewide on Sunday and 13 additional deaths.
More than 66 million people worldwide have or have had coronavirus and more than 1.5 people have died from the virus.
More than 14 million people in the United States have or have had coronavirus and more than 281,000 people have died from the virus.
