CALLING all fashionistas who like to look co-ordinated – ASOS has answered your prayers by coming out with stunning face mask and scrunchie combos in a pretty floral print.
That’s right, you can now protect yourself and others from the transmission of germs without ruining your summer outfit with this £12 set.
Made in dreamy tones of blue, violet and yellow, the fabric features a smattering of pretty florals reminiscent of a field of wild flowers.
The mask features three layers of 100% fabric and is machine washable.
If you want to guarantee bagging yourself one of the gorgeous sets you’ll have to be quick, as the first release of matching masks and scrunchies sold out fast.
Though there is now a plethora of stylish masks t choose from online and on the high street, it’s simple and thrifty to knock up your own version at home.
The fashion retailer was quick to adapt to the ‘new normal’ pivoting away from its usual stock of holiday outfits and eveningwear to make way for items like masks.
However, last month ASOS came under fire for selling very fashionable – but entirely pointless – face masks.
Social media users pointed out the brand’s sparkly sequin mask, which provides no protection from the transmission of germs.
Shoppers were equally flabbergasted by a Fashion Union bikini sold on ASOS that looks like it’s made out of face masks.
Images of the bikini was shared to an Instagram page that is dedicated to hilarious ASOS finds and massive shopping fails.
The floral design was mocked for being “Covid friendly,” while one person joked, “Public service announcement: face masks do not work below the nose.”
