ans of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills may not immediately recognise Amelia Gray – who first appeared on the show at just 13 as the daughter of Lisa Rinna and Mad Men’s Harry Hamlin.
Much like the Hadids before them, the show catapulted Amelia and her sister Delilah Belle into the spotlight – all of whom have gone on to have successful modelling careers in their own right.
The 20-year old now boasts near on a million followers on Instagram as well as campaigns for the likes of Boux Avenue and covers for Paper and Perfect magazine under her belt. She is also a regular feature in all your guilty pleasure tabloid reading since she was first linked to Kourtney Kardashian’s ex Scott Disick in October 2020.
Hamlin has now lent her impeccable style to a summer-ready collaboration collection for Boohoo that focuses largely on everyday basics with pastel tones that you can mix and match. The 40-strong pieces are made up of strappy swimsuits, monochromatic trouser suits and checked co-ords.
We caught up with Amelia to find out the items she can’t live without.
What are you working on at the moment?
Right now I am working on keeping my mindset right and trying to work hard to achieve all of my goals. Meeting new people along the way and experiencing new things.
What was your inspiration behind your collection with Boohoo?
My inspiration was making sure the pieces were versatile. I love having looks that transition from day to night in the summer with pops of color that are still very simple. I love simple!
How would you describe your style and what are you wardrobe staples?
I think my style is ever changing. Depending on how I feel in the morning is how I come up with how I want to express myself through my clothes. Some days I will admit to being lazy, and loving a pair of sweats or biker shorts. I really love a staple trouser and cute tops to rotate with. I am also really enjoying anything with a pop of color these days and loving the new Versace La Medusa bag to go with everything.
What is your beauty routine?
Who is your style inspiration?
I think my style inspiration right now is honestly Julia Roberts 90’s vibes, but recreating her looks in my own way.
What’s the item you couldn’t live without?
How do you treat yourself?
I think it’s so important to have so much respect for yourself and to know your worth. You can’t love anyone without loving yourself first. Be your own cheerleader.
How do you incorporate time for yourself into your schedule?
It is hard sometimes, but it’s important to slow down and take that time. Usually on my days off, I just listen to my body. Whether it be to take it easy or get to the gym first thing in the morning, I always try to put a few times a week aside for myself.
What pieces make up your staple jewellery collection?
I’ve always been obsessed with jewellery. There’s something just so incredible about it to me. I think stacking rings are becoming a staple in my collection, as well as a good little hoop to pair with pretty much anything. Also loving a body chain right now!
