What will be Hull’s largest vintage store yet is to open its doors for the first time on Monday, April 12.
The Vintage Store, which will house two huge floors of vintage clothing, celebrates its grand opening on Monday – when non-essential shops can reopen for the first time this year.
The clothes shop, which will inject a nineties phenomenon into Hull’s fashion scene, will open on 50 Paragon Street, directly opposite the Paragon Arcade.
The team behind creating the new store have been working for weeks to set up shop, bringing everything from worn-in Levi’s, original USA hoodies and dresses in 60’s print to vintage football shirts, reworked Burberry and even a selection of vintage Mexican rugs.

Vintage footwear will also be available with 90’s Niked and a selection of Converse on the shelves.
Those behind the shop say they have had containers full of the best stock to keep the store topped up for years, telling excited Instagram followers that “whatever your style, we have it covered”.
The packed rails will be ridden with hidden designer gems from Burberry, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, Fendi and Supreme garments.
“Everything you can think of in vintage we will stock”, say the passionate retailers who have also described mountains of handbags, thick cord shirts and bundles of spell out sweatshirts among their stock.
They say they are doing their bit in sustainability too as they give the people of Hull the opportunity to buy real 90s streetwear and Levi’s of every colour.
“Against sweatshops, against landfill – for fashion” is among their mantras as they ask people to “wear sustainable fashion, it saves our planet.”
The shop opens on Monday at 10am, closing at 6pm.
